2025 Doylestown 5K Race Recap

05/30/2025 | More News

Well over 600 runners kicked off their Memorial Day weekend this past Saturday at the 32nd Annual Doylestown 5K Race. Unseasonably cool temperatures were probably a blessing for most participants, but the hill a little past the 2-mile mark always presents a challenge. The top 5 overall finishers were all under 17 minutes. Dean Ricco of Ivyland, and a recent DeSales University graduate, claimed the overall prize with a finishing time almost under 16 minutes (16:05.27). Jenn Cronin, 35, of North Wales, was the overall female winner in an impressive time of 18:45.08.

Steve Gourley was the age-graded master’s male winner with a spectacular score of 84.1%. Nancy Smith was the age-graded master’s female winner with an amazing score of 88.9%.

Congratulations to the following runners for setting new age group course records:

F40-44 Kellie Shimer 19:25.64

M45-49 Steve Gourley 16:49.91

M75-79 Dave Broadbent 25:22.42

F75-79 Danielle Millet 31:51.81

M80-84 Jack DeLong 28:49.19

The Doylestown 5K Race benefits the following two local non-profit organizations: Discover Doylestown and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School. It is the fifth of seven races in the Bucks 5K Series.
